More than 100 people from around New Zealand as well as a strong contingent from Tauranga participated in the Grinder Multisport Race, presented by the Bay of Plenty Polytehcnic, on Saturday the 25th of September.

After having a week long build up of storms in the region, the day of the Grinder provided a fantastic challenge on bush tracks, private farmland and the scenic canal journey with the rain only coming in during prizegiving.

It’s not hard to see why the Grinder is growing, starting at the scenic McLaren Falls – Lower Kaimai, Tauranga. With the conditions ideal the location top notch, all making for the key ingredients for a fantastic day.
